Vincent Bongolan is a seasoned data scientist by profession with more than 13 years of experience in Research and Statistics. Currently, he holds the position of Sr. Analyst for Investment Research and Analytics at Morgan Stanley Investment Bank.

Prior to Morgan Stanley, he works in a various industries from academe, medicine/healthcare and trading company. He works full-time as Business Intelligence Manager at Service Seeking Australia. While he works in a fast-paced environment, he still manages to work in a part-time basis as Professor/Lecturer at Polytechnic University of the Philippines, De La Salle University and Arellano University. He also works as part-time Research and Data Science Consultant at University of the Philippines-Philippine General Hospital (UP-PGH), ActiveOne Health, Inc., and Makati Medical Center.

Prior to these work engagements, he works full-time as Sr. Executive for Measurement Science (now Data Science) Statistical Operations at the Nielsen Company. While he was with Nielsen, he also works as Statistical Consultant at Splash Corporation.

Two years prior joining Nielsen, he worked as the University Statistician at Arellano University for 5 long years. While he was with the University, he wrote a research and statistical book for college students. He is very passionate with his vocation that is why he opens his office to receive statistical consultation to the students, faculty and staffs of the university for free.

He is also the first statistician who established statistical reporting in a private financial firm for Teachers – Manila Teachers Savings and Loan Association, Inc.

He took up Bachelor in Applied Statistics at Polytechnic University of the Philippines and he easily landed a job at the National Labor Relations Commission. Since NLRC is a Quasi-Judicial agency of the government, so he was motivated to take up Bachelor of Laws in the same University where he took-up his undergraduate degree. For nearly 1 year at NLRC, he receives an offer from Manila Teachers for Statistician position which eventually he grabbed. When he was with Manila Teachers, he decided to take-up further schooling and took-up Master in Applied Statistics.

When he sees himself free, he always try to find something that he can do, hence he discovered a home-based Job where he can utilize his skills and competencies in Research and statistics. He also delivered lectures to other universities and companies in the Philippines. He also offers Research, Thesis and Dissertation consultancy to students. He already supervised many foreign nationals from Australia, Saudi Arabia, Canada and Australia.
